I become more and more convinced that a great many of the old standard pieces of advice we've been given over the years are worthless at best and maybe even harmful. God Bless Uncle Cletus, he was a good man, but despite 60 years of playing with guns he didn't really know anything worth passing on, even though he was constantly passing on.
