Shipping to a gunsmith for repair.

What is currently the best way for a non-FFL to ship a rifle for repair? I assume the local fedex and UPS outlets won’t do it, but will main hubs ship a gun from a non-FFL? Is USPS still an option?

I've shipped a couple rifles via UPS (hub) to ffls for work. I'm not an FFL holder. They were returned to my house when done.

USPS for a long gun.

FedEx and UPS changed their rules and you need to be an FFL and have an account with them. And you have to provide them with your FFL.

You can still us UPS or FedEx if the FFL you're sending to provides you with a label.
