Shippensburg Ground Hog Match

On Saturday September 23rd at our monthly Ground Hog Match at Shippensburg Fish and Game shooting at 200/300/500 meters Charlie Stambaugh shooting a 30BR tied our existing Range record of 146X150. Our range record was initially set by a 7MM Magnum Custom, then tied two years later by a 6BR Norma, and now tied again by a 30BR. Charlie shot a 50@200/49@300/ and a 47@500 meters. Considering the ten ring measures one and one quarter inches that's some shooting! This is the great thing about Ground Hog Matches, no one caliber rules, and it's never over till the fat lady sings at 500 meters.

Hello,

I'm kicking around the idea of BR shooting.. Right now I all I have is a few H&R's with one having a worked up load shooting .368 @ 100yds..

I live in the Shippensburg area, and was wondering what's a bottom line rifle gonna cost for shooting??

Also, where's the fish and game club located??

Yep, Tuesdays will now be Thursdays next year due to St. Thomas shooting Tuesdays also. Some of our shooters want to shoot both so we're going to change to try to accommodate everyone.
