Thoughts on which one has tighter tolerance and could be a 100-200 yd benchrest action ? I have savage target actions but I would like to step up if this even is a step up. The savage triggers are not where they need to be now when trigger tech starts selling the diamond for the savage different story. I like the idea of swapping barrels myself and I do If frequently. Would like to have one of the shilens or tl3 to try my luck with ppc. Just like your opinions I will only be competing at local clubs. I do pretty well with my 6br savage. thoughts?

Why not find a good used BR action if you want a ppc? You can find plenty of nice used ones on here and can get your money back if or when you want to upgrade. The 2 actions you mentioned make fine hunting rifles
