Does anyone happen to know the chamber neck dimension that Shilen uses for their standard .243 Win chamber in their Savage pre-fit barrels? Fired Winchester brass is measuring .276 so figuring for brass spring back I am guessing the chamber neck is .277 to .278. I fired an email off to them this afternoon but was hoping someone on here might have the info already.
I am reforming some Lapua palma brass to .243 and want to turn the necks for a .003-.004 neck clearance. The reformed case necks are measuring .276, same as fired cases, so neck turning to get .003 clearance is going to be necessary.
