Shilen Octagon ?

Has anyone tried one ? how does it shoot ?

They're by Shilen, if they didn't shoot they wouldn't make them.

There’s a reason it’s etched “Holeshot”. That is not what you get from Shilen.
If not mistaken, Jerry gets them unlapped from Shilen and does it himself.

Kind of, but basically TRSR8 is correct. Octagons are straight lapped at the factory. There are several guys that know how to taper lap them and Jerry is one of them. He, and a couple of other guys, have done some amazing barrels on Octagons.

You're right Tim and I knew they come lapped without taper from Shilen and Jerry added his touch. I guess I should've added "they're great if done correctly" to my post

They are generally pretty good from Shilen but, from what I hear you got a better moustrap there.
