Not in a PPC but a 6BR. I've had an 8-twist and am shooting a 14-twist. Both are very capable shooters if I do my part. I love the Shilen ratchet rifled barrels. Easy cleanup.

Call wade at shilen and see whats the current performer. I dont think its the ratchet most are using select match from what ive seen come thru
There was a post on the subject not long ago on the 6BR/Dasher forum I think. Seems not many thought much of the 5R barrels vs the regular 4 groove barrels.
many, many years ago i called out way west [ not tx] and had a barrel drop shipped to my smith.
it was a pretty darn good shooter. my bud got a borescope and low and behold it turned out to be a ratchet barrel.
i certainly did not order a ratchet for the ppc but if i had another JUST like it i would sure shoot it. getting one just like it is the problem.
