She might be a keeper

The wife too ! LOL , she got me this for a anniversary and birthday gift . A 66-2 speacial edition . I wasn't in the service , but is a nice looking revolver , appears unfired .
Naval Investigative Service Speacial Edition . Told her about a friend of mine who had it for sale several months ago and more or less just forgot about it , she saved up her money and got it . She is a great gal . It will remain as is , I have a nice 27 I carry , so no need to muck up this one carrying it . It does have a slight cylinder ring starting from some yahoo spinning the cylinder . Anyway to remove that without being obvious ? Kenneth

Yup. She's a keeper..........still a good idea to keep a wary eye out. My wife gave me a Sig 45 for Christmas a few years ago and was real sweet for a few months. Then she declared that we "needed" two additions on our house!;) Very nice piece. Enjoy the moment!

Every revolver has that drag mark ,and I had one from the factory years ago that had a very slight drag mark which means nothing unless you are planning to sell it as unfired someday you could send it to smith to have it taken care of or a good wheel gunsmith to polish it very lightly but I wouldn't touch it. It looks great as it is today, congrats!

Thanks for the compliments . I would like to say I'm almost too old to be building any more additions , but am definitely old enough to never say never . I have never been a collector , buy me and shoot me , but in the last few years I have come to realize that I have some guns that just can't be improved on , at least not by my abilities . So lately I have let a couple go unfired just to keep their value . But there is still that little voice , wonder how it would do , lol . Kenneth
