Guys,
I just wanted to say a little something about this company.

About a year ago, I bought a rest top from Butch Lambert, it was his first production run. I was very pleased with the preformance from the first time I used it.

A couple of months ago, I wanted something changed on the top that required machining a part. Butch did this in a couple of days, and did not charge me a dime.....I went ahead and sent him a check for $XX.XX and told him to please cash it.

Now ShadeTree is going to overhaul my top to make it stiffer to handle a heavy F-Class rig. Again Butch has gone out of the way, for someone that he does not know from Adams house cat.

Mostly I have had good customer service from 99% of the custom gun people...

ShadeTree goes above and beyond..

I'll second what you wrote about Butch. He is unbelievable to deal with. Shadetree provides the best sevice around with great products to boot.

I first encountered Butch a few years back. I started a thread on BRC or AR web site about making a rear entry action wrench for a SAKO L-461. Butch had one and loaned it to one of my customers. I duplicated it and made the customer return the original to Butch. The customer is a questionable guy. Butch was thankful and I began trading e-mails and have shared rifle building experiences eversince. Butch is well respected in the BR community for a reason. He is a quality guy as are most of the other shooters. Butch does things the right way and his rest are well thoughout and made.

The first die I ever tryed to make, I ask Butch a lot of Questions about die making . And he just up and sent me a blank die and wouldn't take any money for it. Butch don't let your head get to big. Ha ha . If I ever buy a joy stick front rest it will be from Butch

Art, This is the kind of talk that should be spread about every man that is in business. I know no one is perfect. But, when something goes wrong a "REAL MAN" like you are talking about here will make his work right. Butch deserves the credit. Bill
