Shade Tree Top

Just received a Shade Tree Top and wondered if anyone ever bent their handle for better ergonomics ?? Sitting on the kitchen table it seems that my magazine is going to interfere with joystick movement ..

I cut the original handle off and bent a piece of solid rod. Drilled the end and threaded on a set screw. Best improvement I did.

I made mine longer then bent it down to be closer to the rear bag
and clear the trigger guard for single shots.

There was actually someone selling extended handles for a while.
Its really the only improvement needed for Butch's great product...
I loved mine while I had it, and it got me started in F-Class.

I never bent mine, but I think it would be doable. Clamp it in a padded vice and go slow. Be sure it is aligned properly . Put some band in and try it. You can add bend but unbending, not so much

I think mine was hitting the rear leg on my Bald Eagle triangle base. If memory (ha!) Serves me I reversed the mount.

Ok, this has nothing to do with mag interference so.. yeah ..
