SG&Y Turn Around Time

I thought you guys would be interested to know that Stick has finished my rifle. He called me yesterday and said I could pick it up on Saturday. I delivered the parts back in early December and he is already finished. Considering Christmas and New Years holidays I'd have to say that's pretty good. Maybe things have changed with the new ownership.

I'll get back to you when I get some bullets down range.

That is not bad at all, it took me well over a year to get my build back from a recommend gunsmith on this board.. Never again.

One of my very favorite guns was built by SG&Y, they have always had good, fast service....

I picked up my rifle yesterday. I sure hope it shoots as good as it looks. The fit and finish is better than I had ever expected. Stick was very warm and friendly. My whole experience with SG&Y rifles has been good. I'll let you know how it shoots.

Looks like a Shehane ST1000 stock?

Stick has always treated me right also. Even though Speedy is now gone, I feel in good hands dealing with him and Tom and will not hesitate to do business with them.

It is a Shehane ST1000 Tracker. I still need to put the finishing touches on it. I didn't want to finish it until the smith got through working on it.
