Sequence

Just got me a Benchsource Annealer (very nice unit).

Looking for the sequence that is recommended:

1. Deprime, clean, resize, anneal, trim?
2. Deprime, clean, anneal, resize, trim?
3. Deprime, clean, resize, trim, anneal?
4. other?

Also, if one neck turns, where would that fit in?

Thanks...........

I tumble, deprime, clean pockets, anneal, size, trim, tumble, and load.

Turning is done in initial case prep.

When you say turning is done in the initial prep stages - pre or post annealing?
Several variables to consider.....

Say for my Dashers, they are fireformed in a no turn chamber first, then they're neck turned after the sizing operation to fit the mandrel.

After that, it's back to the original sequence.

In a case that get's moved around a lot, such as the Dasher, I don't think it hurts a thing to anneal before fireforming, although I don't do it. I do find that the seating seems more consistent after the second annealing.
