Seperating 308 brass

I have 2 .308s and I want to run Lapua 308 brass for both. What's an effective way to know which brass has been shot through each rifle? I'm sure you guys have some method of telling the difference after they come out of the tumbler. I use a wet tumbler for cleaning my cases. Thanks,

Chris

Mark the rim. Thin blade jeweler's saw works for me. I got a hand me down from a friend.

Different lots of brass never get mixed in my cleaning, prep, reloading process. If I tumble more than 100, I tumble different cartridges or different head stamps - usually only 200 total.

My STM tumbler strains with more than 200 cases - too heavy.

Chamber marks on the casing. Although very fine after looking at a few cases from each rifle they stand out like dogs...............................

I mark a stripe on the case head right across the primer using a black Sharpie permanent marker. I leave my wife's rifle brass unmarked (tempting but ... don't go there). We both shoot 6.5 Creedmoor.
