what kind of comparison between 7mag &7ultramag in a rem. sendero . loading 140 accubonds . distance out to 400yds.

I've never had a 7mm Rem Ultra Mag. Had a .300 RUM for a while and it was impressive to say the least. Retumbo was the powder of choice with the .300 RUM.

400 yards is not a problem with the good old 7mm Rem mag or for the Sendero. Had a 7mm mag Sendero for several years - it was amazingly accurate for a factory rifle with good ammo. I always preferred the 160 - 175 gr bullets from mine, but it also shot well with bullets as light as 140's. I enjoyed shooting the 7mm mag a lot more than I enjoyed shooting the .300 RUM.
