I know the building (it's actually across the street from the Navy Yard) and the Marine Corps Barracks well, As I used to pass them both on my way to work at the Yard. No surprise, that's what they do.

Those guys had "concerns" during that run over to the housing complex. But their brains were already working to mitigate those dangers during that run.

My experience with Marines and Corpsmen is that they are deeply instilled with the spirit to do their duty in spite of being scared shitless! They will fight to their death, and risk life and limb for their fellow Marine.
