Self Timing Muzzle Brake?

If your ears are more valuable than your shoulder why are you looking for a muzzle brake?
Nathan’s brakes listed above are my favorite but the area 419 are very nice

What is this going on?
Unless this is for something bigger (300WM)
you don't need a muzzle brake for a couple shots.
If you do get one, make sure tighten it up to the jam nut, thread on and adjust to tight
from there. I see to many people just take them off and when they put them back on
the brake is adjusted way out when they tighten back up and bitch about that the rifle
is shooting off. It becomes a barrel tuner if not adjust the same way every time.
These are really good too. I know alot of people using them and like them.

Got a PVA jet blast for a 300wm a couple of weeks ago. It works very well, 200gr Hybrids at 3000 felt like a 308win.
I almost bought another one for this build but always wanted to try Nathan's brake.

I'm just looking is all. I wear earplugs like musicians wear onstage and muffs over those. Works pretty good.

I'm looking at a new rifle which will require some load development and sighting in so more than one or two shots for sure. The rifle will be 6.5-06 AI. Hopefully both of us survive this COVID thing to actually get a chance to use it. Wouldn't the smith put in a set screw and drill a small indent for the set screw so that the thing will be replaced to the same location each time?

FWIW that eBay seller plans to offer SS long action Picatinny rails sometime soon. I think the price will be $100 too but I don't know for sure.

The jet blast is a very effective brake, lots of wind, but not the severe concussion of other brakes.
