Need a little light here on selecting components for 6BR project. I have selected some nice projectiles but the distance to the lands can very a good bit. What is the good compromise. I am looking at the 105 Scenars as the longest of projectiles. The other is the 105 bergers. The heel of the scenars at the shoulder makes the OAL 2.489. The Bergers, set in the same fashion, work out to OAL 2.453. The difference in comparator length where the ogive might meet the lands gives a delta of .088 in favor of the longer bullet.
