I'm reaching out to gauge interest in custom cut foam for pelican, or pelican style cases ie. apache, for the SEB Neo-X. I have a local case company that can design and custom cut these with a waterjet for total perfection in fit and finish. The cost is up there for a one off, but ordered in volume, 10-20 pieces, make it more attractive to acquire.

Therefore, id like to see who all may be interested in getting custom cut foam for you SEB Neo-X. Also, I think we'd have to settle on one style of case because with different brands come different dimensions. I am leaning towards an apache from harbor freight, due to the cost.

I’ve got a small update for everyone.. I spoke with the designer and made an appointment for Wednesday this week to meet up and have them prepare an accurate proposal.

The good news is we have a healthy amount of people on the list, I believe it’s upto 23 now. Come Wednesday, I’ll have an accurate quote and then we’ll be able to plan moving forward. Stay Tuned.

Ive got everyone that sent me a PM with their contact information added to the list. I meet with the designer tomorrow and should have a price and lead time by then. At that point, I will reach out to everyone for either a partial or full payment and once they finish the order, Ill be sending them out to everyone. Tomorrow is a BIG day!

WEDNESDAY UPDATE....

Its Official! I met with the designer today and he has my Neo-X and is making a prototype which should be ready this coming Monday April 28, 2025. Following are the details we've all been waiting for...

• The case foam will be strong, closed cell, self healing and you can have any color you want, as long as its black LoL! (Photo Attached for reference)
• It will be made to perfectly fit in an Apache 4800 available from Harbor Freight
• The price will be $125.00 each plus $5.00 shipping, within lower 48 (Fyi.. I'll have fully paid Pre-Orders ship directly from the factory to cut down on any additional wait time)
  
  • There is currently 31 people on the list and the initial order will be for 50 units
  • The lead time will be 3-4 weeks from when I give the green light to move forward
  • A 50% deposit would be needed from everyone to get this order started and final upon completion. If you'd like to pay in full, you're welcome to do so as well and your order will ship directly from the factory.
