seb neo coaxial front rest fore end stopper

Has anyone change the factory round fore end stopper to a "U" shaped or forked stopper that touches the stock outside of the barrel? It's no good when your barrel rests on top of this stopper.

Have already contacted Seb and no he doesn't make this mod.

Post a picture of your set-up with the rifle in the rest and perhaps a solution could be suggested. I found with a little adjustment it would work with a few different stock styles.

You might consider taking the front stop off altogether, and relocate the bubble level from front-side to rear-side. Acquire some of the rubberized furniture skid material from Lowes, etc, that is sticky on the back. Cut a strip about 1/2 inch wide and the width of your forearm, and secure it to the bottom of the forearm where you want forward motion to be arrested. Works quite well.

I adjust the height of the stop post by putting SS washers under the post for different thickness of stocks. LDS

Thanks Danny for the suggestion. I flipped the pivotal joint part over and reattached. Time to test and see if the Manners F-Class stock likes having the very tip of the stock sitting on the rest or if it needs to a couple of inches forward.
