SEB Mini vs Mini-X

Seb Mini is for 3" wide guns,

Mini X is adjustable for forearm width.

I have a mini which I converted to a mini X style by using Fclass products Mini Mod Top. That way it will accommodate my 3" fore ends as well as standard hunting rifles. The end plates slide on the top, and are locked in place by the levers.

How fluid and smooth do you find the joystick on the Mini and is there
a weight adjustment. I've had an email out to Seb USA about it, but have
not received a response.

I’ve had the Mini for several years and upgraded with the Neo top. Don’t see the need for the ankles. The top is wonderful. It has tamed the torque I was experiencing.

I do not believe there is a weight adjustment, I bought mine used and do not have any documentation.
It is as good or better than my Farley for movement.

Sounds ideal. Would the Fclass products Mini Mod Top adjust down to accommodate a 2.5" forestock (my Grayboe Ridgeback). grayboe_Ridgeback_stock_brown-with-black-web_no-barrel-or-action.jpg

I've had a Mini for several years now. I've seen a Mini-X and it is tempting, but my Mini works so well I can't justify the upgraded version. Last Saturday in Tullahoma using a Dasher, McMillan XIT (originally used for F-TR) stock with a Sinclair Benchrest Adapter my drab, plain 'ol Seb-Mini did pretty well.

Stellar shooting there my friend.
( Whats the Asteric on shot #11 mean )
My understanding is that it means the system detects an anomaly in the shot calculations, such as an extreme angle, lack of a reading from one of the sensors, abnormal velocity, etc. Not sure the actual reason shot 11 was flagged though...

Could it be before the 7 second delay.?
I think I have a target similar to that one in my files somewhere..and never could get a straight answer
from anyone...no big deal just real curious..as to why..I think in my case I was shooting too fast but
dont know.

That's an interesting thought. I do shoot very quickly, consistently waiting on the 7 second delay, but always waiting to shoot until I see where the last shot went. But, I could've cut it close...

That's some great shooting, especially from ground level! Nicely done!

Running the ratigan style weight set on my mini x, from Ernie. I have not completely removed the tensioners, however I will say the sticky feel is now completely gone. Much smoother.

Any pics showing that weight system on your mini. Ernie got back
to me about getting an order in, and only seeing an email for Mike
Ratigan, but no website to check product.
