Was that the old Mini front bag with microfiber or the new one with nylon seat belt material?

As an almost free alternative, try draping a used dryer sheet over the bag, even a couple of layers. It looks less than elegant but works very well.

Using talc on the bag contact surfaces works as well (though it can look pretty ugly.)

I use a bag meant for pool shooters, similar to a rosin bag that pitchers use.
