SEB Bigfoot Rear Bag- Anyone have/ try one?

I am looking at getting a real rear bag this year for F class. I had borrowed several friends large heavy bags at different shoots and when they are loaded w/ the "heavy sand", they really did make a difference in my scores at 1000yds due to the incredible stability. Anyone ever try the SEB Bigfoot bag? seems to be good and affordable. Also, if you did did you get the one w/ twisted ears to either side and are you glad you did?

I use the SEB Bigfoot with the twisted ears at short range BR and really like it. It's very stable until you overfill the bottom. The base will tend to "round" a bit when it's overstuffed. Overall a very nice bag though, that I'm happy with.--Mike Ezell

Do you shoot right or left handed, Which way to you have the ears twistedand do you shoot w/ the bag reversed (big bottom part forward) or normal (big bottom part toward the rear)?
I shoot right handed and like to turn the bag around so the big bottom part is pointed forward. Just trying to figure out which way to get the ears twisted so the the big bottom part of the bag goes diagonal toward the bolt side of the rifle (rh action) when its turned around like that.

SEB makes some very quality products. I own and use his standard rear bag and front bag. His BigFoot bag is huge - very sturdy and heavy. It has this microfiber material that really slides nice. The bottom has a built in rubber pad that stays put on concrete benches - not sure how it would do on the grass/ground. I don't think you would go wrong by buyign a Seb product

I use it it the "normal" fashion...with the ears at the rear. I'm RH and use the front part of the bag for a hand rest for my trigger hand.---Mike Ezell

So did you get the right or left twisted ears? So I understand are the ears at the back or front of the whole assembly when you use it? Is the long base pointing towards the front of the rifle or towards the rear?

The long part is pointed forward. Ears are in the rear. The ears are set at an angle such that the front of the bag kicks out to the trigger-hand side and gives you a place to set your trigger hand.

When you order it, just tell them if you're right handed or left handed. They'll do the rest.

I have the Gator version. I got it after shooting GunsandGunsmithing's SEB. Just had to have one. I'm crazy about mine.

Listen to what he's saying about over-filling. You can do it easily. I've had to give mine a lot of "physical therapy" to get the rounding out.
