My Lee bullet seater crimps my bullets. I’m reloading my 6.5 creedmoor with 139 grain lapua bullets, I’ve cleaned the die several times and even put graphite powder on the nose before seating what’s going on.
Thanks, I definitely will try it.You have the main body of the die set too low in your press. Move it up and set the depth of seating using the plunger rod adjustment on the top.
I think another explanation would be to put a case with no bullet in the shell holder and run it to the top of the stroke in your press with no die. Then run die down in press until it hits and stops on case, now back die out one or more turns and lock it down.Thanks, I definitely will try it.
