Seating depth or powder tweak?

Made that note primarily for Aj300mag. I keep thinking about the "texas warehouse experiment" article and the relationship to seating depth..

JimK... Ended up about 9-10 thousandths deeper for about a 15 thou jump from soft touch.

That jump from soft touch to 5 thou off the lands is "no-man's-land" for me. I have gotten good groups (less than 0.3" for 5 shots) with Bergers jammed a lot, about 40 thou off (plus or minus), and 250 thou off. I don't recommend 250 thou off, though. Just a fluke.
