Well the F-Class season kicked off in great form on Sunday (4/09) at Buffalo Creek Gun Club in Bailey Colorado. Plenty of friendly competitors in both service rifle and f-class. I believe there were close to 30 shooters. My hat is off to the match director Jason Roosa. He puts together a fun organized shoot.
It was an interesting shoot with the wind howling down the valley in swirls and gusts. Sometimes left to right. Sometimes right to left. Sometimes both. It was a humbling experience that was for sure, but I learned some valuable lessons about holding off the bull. Plus gained some great dope on shooting in these conditions. If nothing else it provided me the opportunity to test out the adjustments I made to my rifle in a competition setting and shake out the winter cobwebs.
Counting down the days to the next one on 5/13
