Screw for Pierce action

Does anyone know the dimensions for the action screws used on a Pierce action?
I assumed they were the same as a Remington 700, looks like I was wrong.
I e-mailed Pierce Engineering but it may take a while to get an answer.

1/4-28 is correct for the screws on the ends of the action. But that is not the correct thread size for the front trigger guard screw.

Looks like I had the right screws after all.
I cleaned up the threads and the screws went right in.
Thanks for the help.
Man, I feel like a dummy.

No,you are not dumb for asking a valid question. It could have been worse and you cross threaded them in and then you would have to put thread inserts in a new action.

Most signs say " will work for food" but hey, to each his own. I would probably do it for a new action too... ;D ::) ;D
