Scratched bullets

I just cleaned 200 Sierra bullets that was moly coated with bar keepers friend, now there scratched up! From what I read it didn’t say anything about that on a search earlier, will these be ok to target shoot or how would I smooth them up?
6.5 120 grain matchking

Scratches per se are not a problem as long as they are just "scratches". I've often had some scratched from feeding into the chamber from the magazine during varmint hunting and they shot fine even after repeated chambering and extraction of unfired rounds.

However, I would be leery of using an aggressive abrasive on bullets that might affect their diameter or jacket quality. Not familiar with the product you mentioned relative to cleaning bullets so maybe someone else can chime in on that.

A picture might be useful.

Bar keepers Friend is an acidic, not Chlorine based cleanser. I'd put them bullets in my vibrating tumbler w some clean medium just to shine them a bit. but I think you are safe w just a washing & dry also. mikeinct

After about 3 hours of tumbling they look great other than the media stuck in the hollow point hole, anything to worry about?

I put a little bit of nu-finish polish in the corn cob media, will that hurt the bore of the barrel,I read somewhere it might?

The corncob bit in the tiny little hole? No worries. Might even add to the BC number.
Not enough polish residue left to hurt a thing like barrel steel.
Lay about 15-20 bullets side by side on an old towel, spray with WD-40.
Cover with another towel and roll them clean. This will be good enough.
But....repeat this process again with Windex to be sure.
Windex fixes everything.;)

You should have just shot them up with moly on.:p
