Please allow me your input on selecting a new stock.
I intend to use it for F-open on my 7mm RSAUM. A barnard action and 30" barrel will be ontop of it.
Benchrest stocks: I like the idea of little to no shooter influence on the rifle, except of pinning it in the shoulder to absorb recoil. It will have to be weighted to correct the ballance and adjustable length of pull hardware for comfort.
Lowboy FClass: Less strain on your neck due to cheek weld. More weight to ride the bags. More shooter influence to repeat.
I see a trend towards benchrest stocks. But shooting it on a magnum caliber concerns me.
