Score match at Rockingham County Gun Club April 25th

Rockingham County Gun Club will be hosting our first club score match of the season on April 25th. The first match will be at 100 yards.

Targets are scored with a reticle that scores all calibers as a 30 caliber, so there is no caliber advantage. Factory, Modified, and Benchrest classes are available.

I've never been to Rockingham.
I'd like to.
I have a 6mm unlimited and a 30br.

I don't understand how this score match is ran.
How many shots?
Different relays?
Can I shoot on 2 relays, different rifle on each?

Noob needs it explained simply !

So you are allowed to put 10 or more shooters together?

Know the regulations on each state is different. Here in Florida we cannot do that. At the club we are not allowed to even use benches that are next to each other. It has to be "every-other" bench so there is always social distancing. Glad the virus is not a factor in your area.

Just noticed something on the club website:
RCGC is a private club for members only. There is NO day pass, guest pass, or short term pass to use the club facilities available to anyone for any reason.

Surprised that the orientation class costs $450 and then you pay $150 each year for the dues. Sure looks like a nice place. If a club charged that much here in Florida it would have to have spectacular facilities and ranges to and over 1,000 yards.

Hope your shoot works out as it is members' only.

Switchy winds that got mad at us a few times.
Still a great way for my new 30 to break into the competition world !

Good shootin' Johnny. I thought I heard someone say that another shooter posted a 250-24X. That is outstanding with winds strong enough to blow my target off the backer. I need a wind reading lesson from that guy.

Yeah Derick is good at it. 24 of 25. I've shot with him many times ..
He does it inside too !
I was doing 4-5 per target but on that last one I let my attention stray.
I'll be back next month !
