Score High Benchrest Follower

I wanted to ask if anyone has used the Score High Benchrest Follower that just fits in a stock on top of the original follower and spring.I did not want to put a permanent follower in the gun which is a short action .221 700 BDL. How do they fix in place and are they a solid stay put application? Thanks all.

They take about 5 seconds to insert, just open the bdl bottom and insert above the follower and close er up.

They work great, one of the best $12 you will spend!

Dan: Yes, I agree with Mark: they work fine. Have them 'both ways': sitting on top of the spring assembly, easily removable for conversion back to repeater, and also work fine when glued-in for a 'permanent' single-shot set-up. Even my 6 BRs will smoothly chamber feed after simply laying the round on top of the follower & closing the bolt, on my Rem 700s. :)

Score Highs work great, but Davidson's loading ramps work better for glue ins.

The Score High is not much of an improvement over simply placing the cartridge on top of the follower. The Davidson is a much better set-up. Just because you glue it in doesn't make it permanent. It can be popped out anytime you want.
