Scopes clicks compared to trajectory

Hi all, Newbe here. I've looked everywhere and can't find my answer. Either I just didn't understand or, was it not explained? My question is: Please correct me if I start out wrong. If a 1/4 MOA scope at 100yds moves the POI 1/4" w/every click, how much will that same change effect the POI at 200yds? Is it 1/2" or is it still 1/4" In other words, Does the POI increase with the yardage e.g. 2x(1/2") at 200yds, 3xs(3/4") at 300yds etc.?
If I have my rifle is sighted in dead on at 200 yds and I want it to shoot dead on at 300 yds how many clicks (with a 1/4MOA adjustments) would it take? or,
Does it depend more on the individaul trajectory of the given bullet/cartrige?
Hope I explained that right!

The change in POI is soley dependent on the ballistics of the cartridge being shot. HOWEVER when @100yds the 1/4 moa CLICKS should move the POINT of AIM 1/4 moa,@ 200yd the same 1/4 moa click is equal to 1/2 MOA scope adjustment, @ 300yds it would be 3/4 moa @ 400yds 1 moa etc.

Smallbore,

MOA means "Minute Of Angle". If a cone with one minute of angel and a dia. of 0 at the muzzle were extended out to 100 yards, it would have a dia. of roughly 1 inch (actually 1.047 inch or a little more than 1-1/32 inch). At 200 yards it would be twice that.

While writing this I see CJ6 answered your question and I agree with his explaination, but since I typed all this I will post it anyway.

Hey, Thanks guys......hope you're both guys? ;D
I realize I didn't explain my question right, but you both answered it right.
Theoretically is what I think I was looking for because POA and POI depend on the individual cartridge but looking through a scope (POA) or line of sight and it's relationship to the line of the bore is what I believe I was trying to describe. So the change in THAT relationship is actually what CJ6 said and not the point of impact or line of any given trajactory.
I apologize for my confusing question but you both qualified your answers well. Thank you very much.
