Something I do for practice and fun is plink at 100-200 yards with a scoped Sako finnfire Range .22 rifle.
My current scope is a 30mm Nikko with a plex reticle which works well for varmin control at and around the rifle's zero of 50 yards. Beyond that, hold over is not exactly repeatable 'a bit more than a third down' that kind of thing.
I've got mildot scopes but the mildot element really only covers the central part of the reticle and I'm looking for recommendations of a scope/reticle which will give me graduations on the lower half of the elevation wire all the way to where it meets the circumference.
I know I could wind the turret up/down but I want to utilise hold-over points for when vermin shooting.
Recommendations please chaps?
