Scope selection

Guys, I am new to long range shooting and have to know what scopes you would recommend for shooting 600 and 1000yds for a budget of around 700-800$...??? Thanks for any assitance, Andy

In your price range:

Older B&L 36x
Sightron 24x or 36X
Weaver T24 or T36
Leupold 6-20 LRT
Leupold 8-25 LRT
Zeiss Conquest 6-20

Most guys prefer zooms, but a 36x works awfully nice at 600 yards. Check Reloaders Nest,James Phillips) for very competitive pricing on the Leupolds.

Check SWFA, they have a real good selection of demos, close outs, trade ins, etc. From low cost to high cost brands, Do a search on them as I don't have their address at hand. JimDee

Thanks for the lead on my pricing on scopes, In most cases I can beat any of the retailers including SWFA on the high end scopes such as Leupolds LRT and mark IV's and the med range scopes I can as well but the savings per scope dollar wise isn't as great and the low budget scopes markup isn't that great and the savings are minimum but still there is a savings. examples Leupold LRT 8.5-25x50 LRt I can save in excess of 100.00 per scope.
Just get with me and I'll get you my best pricing.

The 5 x 20 x 50 Huskemaw optics scope is one of the better choices for any long range work animate or not. They have bullet drop compensator which are very nice,as well as windage compensating capability.Simply range dial and shoot.Clarity and resolution are better than most optics costing much more.

I am surprised that "Moderator" didn't mention the new Sightron 8-32 x 56 LRD scope that is selling at most wholesalers for 825 bucks.!!!

Do you actually own one of these "things", or are you quoting some sales blurb from a website?

Your comment sounds like it was text pasted right out of an advertisement.
