Scope Selection Question

I need a good scope that will cover a wide range of uses and it will mostly be used on a 5.56 AR that turned out to be a shooter (.4 to .75) with 69-77 grain bullets. The rifle is mostly used for deer depredation permit work here in the south where they can destroy crops even though we use other means to discourage them first.

With that said, using a green lens Streamlight, 3X works best at night with a cheap Minox 3x9x40 and also for quick moving shots on predators. I would also like to stretch out and try some 500 to 600 yard shooting just for fun. I am thinking about a 3x15x50 Zeiss HD 5 and my budget won't allow anything over $1K.

Opinions on this selection would be greatly appreciated.

I run a Nikon 4.5-14x44 on my Ar15s and have zero issues running it to 700 yards at the range. Most of my coyote shots are way under 300 yards in field use.

Thanks. The only shooting I have done in the past was using a 6.5x20 on a varmint rifle at 500 yds. But now that I have a place to shoot at 600, I didn't know if the 15X would be enough.
