Scope Selection for Hobby Target 6mm BR

I just bought a 6mm BR Norma 700 custom. I will need to scope it. I would like to buy a quality scope. I plan to shoot the rifle from 100 yards about 75% of the time and 375+ about 25% of the time. On other rifles I have a Sightron S2 24X, and a Leupold VXIII 3.5-10x. I was looking at the Nikon Monarch 6.5-20x UCC AO. Another choice would be a Sightron SII 6-24x42 with either the dot or plex. The Nikon retails for about $410 and the Sightron retails for $360 - $390. I usually try to maintain uniformity in my equipment. A Leupold VXII 6-18x is about $450-$490 with the target turrets. I really like the Leupolds. Any experience or input appreciated. Thanks, Peter.

Check out the latest BLOG. MidSouth is having a big sale on the Nikon Monarch.

In your price range I would be on the look-out for a used Leupold 6-20 LRT. Check eBay, and the hunting forum classifieds. I picked up a flawless 6-20 EFR last year for $400.00. The Bushnell Elite is a very good 6-24 scope, but a little darker, typically) than the Nikon.

Below the level of Nightforce etc., I really like the Zeiss Conquest, but it would be considerably more money than either the Nikon or the Bushnell.

Watch E-Bay I bought a like new Zeiss 6.5x20 with Target Turrets with the box for $585 plus shipping about a month ago. It was advertised as a display. Maybe I got lucky but they also had 4.5 x 14 scopes which would be a pretty good varmint scope. You can't go wrong with Leupold especially if you could find a good deal. Good Luck
