Scope Rings & Bases

I've been using copies of the Davidson Bases and Jewell rings,or something similar)up to now due to isolation and a very unfavourable exchange rate.

I'm putting together a 6x47 Lapua on a BAT 3 Lug action and want to be sure I use the absolute best components,I'm one of those that keeps on upgrading and it has cost me a lot over the years, so now I want to do it proper - although all of us will again find something to upgrade).

I've heard that the Ken Farrell Bases and Rings are quite popular in the USA. How does it compare with the Davidson / Jewel bases and rings? ae there something else I should look at?
