scope ringes

Rifle: savage 10 FCP-Mcmilian in 308 rifle
has 20 moa nigtforce one piece picatiny rale
Question:
just bought Sightron SIII 10-50 x60scope and need to figure out what rings to get for it.
Longest range out for me is only 500 yards
What rings would members reccomend? Millet, burris , or vortex: ? (low, mid, high?)

I know that the closer i can get the scope to be to barrel is more ideal.
budget for rings is about $200

My cousin just bought a 10-50x60 off of here and has the a similar rifle profiled like yours. He is going to try the medium Leupold QRW's. I believe these will work for him, his rifle has a 20 moa base. These rings are on sale at Midway this month for $60.99. You do not need $200.00 rings to mount that scope. If you are concerned with ring marks go with Burris and thier inserts.
