Scope Resoultion Chart

Guys,
I don't know if I am asking for the thing buy the right name.
What I need is a chart that has bold and fine lines and letters on it to check the clarity of different scopes. Something I could print off the WWW would be great.

Thanks guys, Merry Christmas

Trev,

Thanks! That is exactly what I needed.

It's possible that your printer won't print with the same clarity as something from a commercial source, such as a high quality magazine. Lines are good, especially straight ones, but photographs are even better as they allow you to compare clarity, curvature, color and contrast at once. If you do print your own, I'd suggest an alteration to the image. Most images floating around have a default depth of 72DPI - 72 dots per inch. I'd open the image in Photoshop,if you have it) then copy it into a new frame with a depth of 300 DPI,or more), check the size, resize as needed, save it,,keeping the depth at the higher setting) and then printing it. You'll find the edges and overall image much crisper. -Rod-

Paul,
I am more testing shooting glasses. I wear RX shooting glasses. I have many pairs in many different colors do to shooting Skeet and sporting clays for a very long time.

The other day I shot a 600 x 3, I had forgotten my shooting glasses so I shot with my polarized driving glasses. I could really see the target great that day with my driving glasses. I shot a 599 with my highest x count of the year.

I am going to test every pair of glasses I have shooting prone, with this resolution chart. The scope I shoot most for F-Class
is an NSX42-CH2.
