Scope question(s).

Has anyone here had their fixed power rifle scope magnification increased? I read about a company in New Mexico that does this, and am curious to see how this worked out for anyone that's had this done. The scope in question is a Leupold 12X that for my eyes could use a power boost.

They get dark. Ive had a few siebert conversions

If just wanting 3.5x more a bullzeye screw on might be an answer.
I probably would just buy new and sell old.

Bill Ackerman, you'll probably talk to a girl but I'm telling you she knows whats up. The ones I've had them do are old steel tube weavers and they tuned out great. I think key is not try to do too much. SmittyJon tried to almost double and it didn't work out. I have 2 original 10x that are bumped and a 16x. I honestly don't remember what they are bumped to but they are noticeably more power and very clear-no darkness. If you're in competition you better just save up and get what they play with. If you're a guy like me that just likes to shoot and varmint hunt, that's your ticket
