What do you guys think of a Swarovski z5 5-25x52 for a single shot 22 ppc target-varmint.
These scopes are a lot of money to me and trying make the best all around choice, thanks
If your willing to spend that kind of coin for that much power, get
a Schmidt and Bender. But then again. I'd lean towards Kahles.
Jeff makes a good point about the Sightron III but, I chose a NF
Comp with a DDR-2 over it.....Bottom line though; Whatever one
you choose, you'll be looking for something else.
Some of the z5 scopes depending on reticle don't have an exposed turret for dialing if that matters.I found the swarovski z5 used for about 1k, the varmint hunting would most likely be 300yrds or less, here in Michigan, thats about it
Agreed. But that 40- 50x helps on the target, especially with older eyes. Aim small, shoot small.I doubt any of the 300 yard varmints would be easier to hit with a different scope. Although some people want to see their beady little eyeballs.
Just purchased one, thanks CJ6, and thanks to everyone for the input.NF BR w/2-DD reticle.
