Scope for 10/22

Just picked up a 10/22 for having fun at the range. I'm trying to decide which scope to put on it. It needs to be able to shoot things well at 25 yards, but also as far as 100 yards. I like Leupold's, but I'm unsure which would be best for my parameters.

Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

For mr 10/22 I bought a used Leupold 3-9 variable here on this forum, sent it to Leupold where they checked it out and at my request, set the parallax distance to 50 yards. The cost was about $15.00. Now a perfect 22 rimfire scope.

Weaver has a couple of 3/10 variables with secondary elevation hash marks for sighting multiple ranges quickly. Shooting a 1200 fps round will give a sight picture that is on at 25 and 50 with the primary crosshair- on at 75 with first secondary- on at 100 with second mark down and on at 125 with the third mark. Trouble free except for tuning out some parallax at 25.. Nachez had a flier out listing at 150. BSA has a Sweet 22 for less but I am not familiar with it. I shoot a 3/10 on a 10 22 rifle and a 2.5/10 on a hand gun. LT

I have a Nikon 3x9x40 BDC on one of my 22s and love it.You can go to their website to see how to set it up to use the BDC rectical . Hope this helps good luck!!

I have a 6-24x40 A.O. Simmons varmlnt on mine, like it alot. I,ve shot rimfire tac shoots out to 250 + yards, works great.

Take a look at the Mueller AO scopes. They have excellent quality clarity for the money and work well for rimfire rifles.
