Scope boosting and reticle changing question

I have a Leupold 12x Target (1976 mfg) with fine duplex reticle. I would like to change it to a 1/4 MOA dot/fine crosshair reticle and boost it to 24X. Leupold says they do not have any parts for these older scopes so that's why I'm searching for someone who does this kind of work.

Any ideas?

The parts and labor would cost more than what the scope is worth. TK Lee can do the reticle.
