scope base

I have a savage 308 that I will mount a http://swfa.com/SWFA-SS-10x42-Tactical-30mm-Riflescope-P500.aspx . What king of pIcatinny rail would you recommend? I will use this just for target shooting

Farrell Industries makes really nice bases for savages. Makes really nice rings, too. If you need help figuring out which one, call them and ask for Jerry. He will line you out.

EGW makes a good base and is prices well. Never had issue with the two I have owned
