Schultz & Larson Rifles Cleaning Recommendations

Just spent some time at www.greatdanerifles.com. It is the English website for Schultz & Larson. Nice guns! They make their own cut-rifle barrels and of course hand lap them. Their cleaning recommendation is to never use solvent of any kind but use felt cleaning pads. White for powder fouling, green for copper (in two grades). I knew the small bore match rifle manufacturers were recommending felt as well, was not aware it might be applicable for center fire.

Ack! The English do you everything backwards. Drive on the wrong side of the road. Cook meat inside your pop over. Drink tea instead of coffee. Don't get me started about the Lucas auto parts. Fogetaboutit!

Ack! The Danes do everything backwards!........"...;););) I'll stick with my method, including solvent. I'm too old to change my ways.
