I am in love with this Rifle and caliber, but, I have an old car project spanning three generations from my disabled Vet Dad, myself, and my son that needs some final attention for paint and interior completion, and I need the money!
I want to finish the car while my Dad is still around and while my son is engaged and working on it with us. My teenage son has really gotten into shooting and reloading with me also, so he will continue the hobby for sure.
I counted the ammo, and I have 7 full boxes of 400gr new Hornady ammo in 20 rd boxes = 140 rounds
The ammo I have in the green box is the the same Hornady 400gr ammo, but in the organizer instead = 39 rounds
There are 28 of the Buffalo Bore 420 grain loads and 30 of the Buffalo Bore 440 grain loads = 58 of those hard cast loads
That is 237 rounds in total, which average about $3-$4 per round when sold separately, so a value of the ammo is between $711 and $948.
I also have somewhere around 50 pieces of I also have a set of dies I will include.
The rifle has very few rounds down it and it shoots excellent, as you can tell by the target attached. That was shot unsupported with no bags and using the mounted Nikon Prostaff 2x-7X set at 7X at 100yds. It is very accurate, I am sure.
The wood is some of the nicest I have seen on any no.1 in person, as the rest have been very blah or straight grained. The Nikon scope is mounted in gloss blued Redfield rings on solid steel Redfield adapter bases.
Save yourself hundreds in fees and the ransoms instead of buying on GB.
Asking $2650 plus shipping at cost (approx. $80-$100) to your FFL. I will ship the ammo separately via Fed Ex to the buyers home or business address (as needed). Located in Central Wisconsin if someone wants to meet for the transaction and inspection. I can drive 3+ hours for a deal.
