I have the RCBS ChargeMaster 1500 Combo, and would never leave home without it. It makes reloading fun instead of a chore. More and more of the nations top short-range BR shooters are moving to it. There were plenty being use at the nationals in Midland this past year.

I had a Chargemaster and it was ok, but eventually I went with the GD503. At first I was using the Chargemaster as the powder thrower, but have since switched to Redding powder measure. I trickle up with the Omega.

Gem pro all the way... It may take a bit longer but being able to measure to a hundredth of a grain has a dramatic effect on accuracy. I know the RCBS is a wonderful unit but I thought I would throw in my two cents for the Gempro. Great scale!!!

The Gempro is a wonderful little scale and I like it way better then the rcbs but ZI would much rather have Charlie Watsons GD503 there WAYYYYYYYYYY better!!
Wayne.

I use the RCBS and then check with the Gempro. 50% of the time the RCBS is right on. extra kernals fall on the last kick the rest of the time even with the McDonals straw. The Gempro is accurate to 1 kernal of H4350. Ocasionaly I check the Gempro with My old Ohaus 10-10. Not much of a trusting soul am I. Mike

McDonald's buys there beef from south America, I would never use one of there straws, and that is probably why the RCBS is kicking out a little extra powder, it's not liking the drug cartel straw! Did you see on another thread a few days ago where they cut the end of the straw to look like a crown? they say it works better and you can use a American made straw bought from a locally owned hamburger joint :D
Wayne.

I started laughing when I read your post wayne. I think the American made straws are more consistant and are a bit straighter. ;)

As for the RCBS, Ive used mine for a while and its great. Like all scales though, I check mine every ten or so rounds for drifting.

Josh,
I am sorry I just for some reason can't keep my patriotic highly opinionated ultra conservative mouth shut at times ;D

Just got done putting my Chargemaster back in the box, and mounting my RCBS Uniflow to the bench. With this and the GD503 I can charge Four rounds to one with the time it took to wait on the chargemaster. That was even after I done the speed up deal too. Omega trickler and the GD503 is awsome comb!

well received my new gem pro 250 scales today the bottom fell off the calibration weight first then the more i looked at it &tried to get that little plastic pan off it the more i knew i would spill powder all in it icouldnt seem to get ahold of it very easily so it went back today with my blessings & im back to my old rcbs scales till my new rcbs 1500 gets here imcertain they would weigh a knat but i didnt think they were very user friendly for me at least shooter63
