Scaled offset targets for long range practice

I'm trying to make a scaled offset target for my .270win bolt gun. I'm not 100% sure of the scale and offset (bullet drop at different distances i'm thinking) for making a 500 meter target at an actual range of 250 meters. I want to be able to practice 500 meter shots without having to worry about all the factors in a long range shot. That is until my skills improve enough to add in more variables. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure if what type target you want, but they nake many reduced targets. I bought a bunch of 600 yard reduced to 300 fclass targets from midway usa.

I was going to use a scaled cardboard target below an identical steel target. You aim at the lower target and when you fire the steel above will ping on a hit. I just need the scale of the targets at different ranges. The offset is (I believe) the difference of bullet drop at 250 meters vs. 500 meters (or yards).
