a buddy brought over a savage 110 30-06 that i'm going to change the barrel to a 6.5-284 and the action has bases on it that are not held on with screws, appear to be factory. i wasn't aware that savages came with bases like this. can anyone tell me when savage made a gun like this. thanks cliffe
