Savage Warning

I just picked up a new Savage 12 F-Class in 6BR. There is a warning about the target trigger that looks like it's painted on the receiver. It really annoys the hell out of me. Anybody have a suggestion as to how to remove it?

The warning is actually laser etched, but with 400 grit sandpaper and elbow grease it will disappear.

Thanks for the scoop. Laser etched is a pain. I was hoping they put it on with something I could wipe off with a little acetone or something similar. You know, cover themselves by putting it on there, but in a way that would be easy for me to get rid of "at my own risk".

Hey, if you wind up trying to clean that up with the sandpaper let me know how it turns out. I have the same problem, a 6.5 x 284 and the warning really annoys me. Thanks
