Savage TRIGGERTECH

Yes Sir !! What I'm waiting on. I've been thru every trigger out there and
and find myself putting the red blade back in. There was a discussion on
Savage shooters last year about the new trigger, and seems it keeps moving
forward. Time will tell

A completely new trigger would be great. I do not want another that uses any of Savages pieces or parts. If it uses Savages stamped parts I will just use an accu trigger as issued.

I got the same email last year from them saying 2022. Hopefully they stay on track this year. Until then my timney will do fine.

Doesn’t the design of the savage action kinda limit the availability of a trigger in some way? I think it’s a small miracle that the Timney, and target Accu triggers are as good as they are when you get to looking at them.

Like a posi-trac on a Plymouth, how’s it work? Just does! But not as nice as the other offerings on Remington and custom.

But, I do love the idea of the savages and all that they’ve done. If someone can finger out a way to make a trigger tech diamond level trigger work in a savage I’m gonna tip my hat. Because then what?

Lost me on that analogy
I'm guessing he meant a super duper posi unit (Detroit Locker way back in my day) on an old piece of junk vehicle. In other words not a hemi Cuda. Sort of a lipstick on a pig analogy. I'm not making a judgement on Savage rifles, only giving my interpretation of his analogy.

I haven't ever tried a Triggertech Diamond, but I did try a Triggertech Primary. I like the "feel" of a Jewell way better than the Triggertech Primary. So personally, if I actually owned a Savage rifle, I wouldn't have my hopes up real high.

IMO to be successful ALL of the factory parts need to be discarded. I have a SS and JARD Savage triggers and they don’t use any of the factory trigger parts except the pin.

Please, what is an SS Savage trigger ? I have an old Jard and the latest new Jard. Yes, the new Jard replaces everything but the pin. I have a discontinued Sharp Shooter Supply Competition Trigger, which uses the original Savage sear. I have never owned the Sharp Shooter Supply Evolution Trigger (discontinued) so I don’t know if it was self contained or used some of the Savage parts. Just trying to clarify if there is a Savage trigger out there I missed along the way ?

Keeping in mind, this thread is about the possible new Trigger Tech. Not High Jacking :)

Sharp shooter supply

If Trigger Tech offers one that completely replaces all of Savages parts I will give one a try. I have a half dozen TT Diamonds I am happy with on actions other than a Savage. Are they a Jewel, no.

I am done spending $ on Savage triggers that do nothing I have not accomplished with the accu triggers I have tuned. The add a piece guys can have them.
